The following prizes have been made available to RANZCR delegates attending AOCR 2012.
Radiology Oral Presentation

Criteria:
Eligible candidates must be a trainee member of the RANZCR College or a Fellow of the College who has held his/her initial specialist qualification for not more than four years. Applicants names to be sent to RANZCR Radiology Education Officer for membership status confirmation closer to the event
Award/Prize:
Philips Healthcare Australasia has kindly donated a cash prize of $2000 as well as a return economy class airfare to The Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists (RANZCR) 2013 Annual Scientific Meeting in Auckland, New Zealand.
Judging Process:
Two RANZCR representatives determined by the Organising Committee evaluate "Best Scientific Paper Presentation" by a trainee member of the College, or a Fellow of the College who has held his/her initial specialist qualification for not more than four years.

Award/Prize:
Toshiba (Australia) has kindly donated a valuable prize for the most outstanding contribution to the Scientific Paper Presentations at the ASM. The prize consists of a return economy class airfare and 6 night's accommodation to enable the winner to attend RSNA in 2013.
Judging Process:
Two RANZCR representatives determined by the Organising Committee evaluate "most outstanding contribution to the Scientific Paper Presentation at the meeting".
Radiology Exhibit

RANZCR College Member
Applicants names to be sent to RANZCR Radiology Education Officer for membership status confirmation closer to the event.
Award/Prize:

Two RANZCR representatives determined by the Organising Committee evaluates down to 10 finalists. The Chief Censor of Radiology and an RANZCR Organising Committee member then evaluate to a winner for the "most outstanding contribution to the Scientific Exhibit Presentation at the meeting".
Radiology Exhibit
Criteria:
Eligible candidates must be a trainee member of the RANZCR College who has completed the Part 2 FRANZCR Examination.
Applicants names to be sent to RANZCR Radiology Education Officer for membership status confirmation closer to the event.
Award/Prize:
Aspen Pharmacare has kindly donated a return economy class airfare to The Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists (RANZCR) 2013 Annual Scientific Meeting in Auckland, New Zealand for the Best Trainee Exhibit.
Judging Process:
Two RANZCR representatives determined by the Organising Committee evaluates down to 5 finalists. The Chief Censor and an RANZCR Organising Committee member then evaluate to a winner for "best Radiology Exhibit by a trainee member who has completed the Part 2 FRANZCR examination".
Radiology Exhibit

Criteria:
Eligible candidates must be a member of the RANZCR College (excluding trainee members).
Applicants names to be sent to RANZCR Radiology Education Officer for membership status confirmation closer to the event.
Award/Prize:
Wiley-Blackwell has kindly donated a cash prize of $750.
Judging Process:
Two RANZCR representatives determined by the Organising Committee evaluate "Best Exhibit Award for Radiology College Members (excluding trainee members)".
The following prizes have been made available to international delegates (excluding Aust and NZ delegates) attending AOCR 2012.
Scientific Awards are consisted of the Best Scientific Paper Awards and the Best Scientific Exhibition Awards. A total amount of AU$15,000 has been earmarked for Scientific Awards and will be awarded to individuals without an age limit on a basis of the scientific content of an accepted abstract.

The Young Investigators Scholarship, to the value AU$250 each were made available for young processionals under the age of 40 from AOSR member countries (excluding Aust and NZ) to encourage and support attendance at AOCR 2012.
The scholarships have been awarded to applicants whose abstracts were selected for presentation at a scientific session or scientific/educational exhibition, with the $250 scholarship to be put towards the meeting registration fee. Trainees who were awarded the scholarship were asked to provide a letter of support from their Head of Department or Society President confirming that they are participating in their respective country’s training program.
Judging Process:
Representatives determined by the AOCR Committee evaluated the abstracts and selected recipients.
